// Campaign Design
Mr Flynn Creative was selected to improve the perception of Local Authority services by designing a series of pop up banners for the Council’s Planning department which resulted in a rebrand of the Building Control departments marketing strategy and collateral.
The Council’s Planning department had defined services and made the process of applying for planning and development far more transparent. Each division within the department has a unique service with time-honoured experience, but this wasn’t being communicated clearly.
Mr Flynn Creative were initially tasked to design and print five pop-up banners for a forthcoming event. Time was incredibly tight but we quickly came up with a harmonising new brand design that was applied to each of the five departments that work together and represent the Council’s Planning department. At this event the banners received a warm reception and helped gain them new business.
Following the success, the new brand style was applied to business cards, PowerPoint presentations, quotation forms, flyers and trade exhibition marketing materials for the Building Control department. The campaign design we completed for their three day trade exhibition at Birmingham’s NEC helped gain over 600 service enquiries, an amazing result.
“The design input is a real breath of fresh air and is exactly what we wanted to achieve in terms of trying to improve the perception of Local Authority services. With a seemingly impossible deadline to showcase our department at a pre-scheduled event, Mr Flynn Creative produced branding ideas and worked quickly to design and print our five department banners. The work produced for our three day property event at Birmingham’s NEC helped us gain over 600 enquiries for our services – amazing.”
